Περιγραφή Μαθήματος

English IV focuses on the development of academic and professional English within the context of health sciences. Designed to strengthen both language competence and workplace readiness, the course emphasizes understanding and using specialized vocabulary and terminology through engaging, up-to-date content. Students work with a range of texts and multimedia materials that explore the future of pharmacy and emerging topics in the field such as 3D-printed drugs and AI in drug design. These materials serve as a platform to build discipline-specific language skills and improve comprehension of complex scientific texts.

Similar to the previous semesters, emphasis is also placed on project based learning and on academic skills essential for university-level study and professional development, including presenting health-related research, writing for scientific purposes. as well as developing critical,  synthetic and interdisciplinary thinking through real life connections. 

Instruction combines face-to-face learning with interactive and digital tools.
