Περιγραφή Μαθήματος

Since Museum studies involve a variety of scientists of diverse backgrounds such as: pholosophers, historians, archaeologists, architects, engineers, artists, designers, computer scientists and others, the need to be able to use the English language effectively, having knowledge of a variety of topics and issues is a necessity in the field. The museum Terminology II course is a continuation of the previous semester's course (Terminology I) and concerns material on  subjects such as:  History of Art, culture and cultural heritage, museums' basic principles and values. The course provides museum studies' students with linguistic skills in English enabling them to understand and produce texts in both languages (English and Greek), vocabulary competence, easy comprehension of documents in their field work, and fluency in writing and speaking.
