Public Speaking and Academic Presentations is an EAP/ESP course designed to offer postgraduate students an insight of the principles and concepts of oral communication and a thorough understanding and practice of presentational speaking skills. It will place emphasis on the preparation, organization, and presentation of speeches in various settings, stressing also the importance of non-verbal delivery skills and the integration of an effective presentation format along with the required technology and necessary visual aids. The goal of the course is to familiarize students with situations they might face in their personal or professional lives through a variety of speaking assignments.
