English for Specific/Academic Purposes (ESP/EAP)

This course aims to develop students' both receptive (reading & listening) and productive (writing & speaking) skills in the foreign language by placing emphasis on English terminology. It aims to develop students' lexical and grammatical competence related to the scientific field of Animal Production, Ichthyology, Aquaculture and Fisheries through authentic educational material, mediation activities and communicative tasks in English by enabling them to interpret, encode, and decode the meaning and use of words and sentences included in various communicative contexts (e.g. postgraduate studies, european mobility programmes-Erasmus+, conferences, professional settings, etc).
