Descripción del Curso

ARC 304, a continuation of ARC 303, is a research-based course that focuses on the increasing automation, digitization, exploitation and collective use of the built and natural environment as a sustainability struggle on resource scarcity, economics and environmental impact. On one hand, the course discusses these topics from an ecological/systems-thinking perspective. On the other hand, the course explores tools, methods and techniques to think with on these problems. The course argues that the ongoing struggle for sustainable automation of the environment is a major architectural field of concern yet a complex one to tackle.
