Dear students,

(1) For those interested in reading some bibliography for the Hippocratic 'On the Sacred Disease' and some of the questions which we addressed in previous classes, please consult the 2003 book by G. Lloyd, entitled In the Grip of Disease: Studies in the Greek Imagination (Oxford University Press).

(2) Below is a general list of topics. You can select an item/topic for your presentation and essay for this semester. Once you do this, I will give you detailed bibliography for each subject. We'll talk about the list in detaill next time we meet.
