Dear Participant,
This research is about automated (non personal) communication systems (chatbots). These are software applications designed to simulate human conversation and interact with users via text, or voice.
They are commonly used in customer service, virtual assistants, and chats to automate responses, answer frequently asked questions, or perform simple actions, such as booking an appointment, retrieving information, or troubleshooting.
Examples of chatbots are: Google Assistant, Siri, ChatGPT, Alexa, as well as, business applications, such as automated customer interaction systems over the phone, or the Internet, with Banks, electricity companies, and other commercial companies.
With this research we make an effort to assess the usefulness of chatbots in our communication with companies.
In order to be a suitable participant in this research, It is necessary to think about a specific chatbot you have contacted with. If you answer that you don't have in mind a specific chatbot, the search ends there, because you should have experience with a specific chatbot, like the ones we mentioned above.
